This course is just one of the local Craft Farms facilities. It's a friendly layout with lakes, marshes, and plenty of trees. Walking is only allowed after 3 PM. The other Craft Farm facility (located a mile away) is the Cotton Creek Club, a thirty-six hole golf complex designed by Arnold Palmer

Rancho San Joaquin Golf Course
"This course helped my game!"
With it's many doglegs and elevation changes, this course will quickly teach the beginners how to setup their approaches, while giving the lower handicap players a reasonably challenging round. 5 of the first nine pins cannot be seen from the tees. If you spray your tee shots, you will surely be struggling to make par. The par threes are deceiving with two short downhills, and two 150-ish up hills. These have been my achilles heel. There are not to many water hazzards, but they are well/poorly place depending on your tendancies. They can easily swallow your ball if your not carefull. The traps are typically limited to wrapping the greens, but watch out for the 5th hole, with its deceiving horizontal sand at 230 yards out. The grounds are well kept with mid speed greens that exactly match the practice green. Prepare for an even mix of wide and narrow fairways, and many misleading doglegs, both slight and sharp. This course has made me a better golfer, and I can't say that about many. Enjoy!

Turkey Creek Golf Club
"I like this course"
Turkey Creek is a well maintained golfer friendly course. The course is a links type course with refreshment machines between the 8th green and 9th tee box. The course has a gentle rolling terrain with numerous water hazards and a few well placed sand traps. It will be worth the drive from any where to play this course.

McPherson Country Club
"MCC was a tough little course"
I played in a Tourney there in June. It is a short course but one that demands shaping shots. MCC has postage stamp greens that are sloped and at times faster than any greens you will find anywhere. It is not uncommon to 3 or 4 whack on these greens that were well manicured. MCC is not your typical golf course but thats what makes it tough and fun. Bring your nerves cause this course is not a push-over to score low on.

Eagle Creek Golf Club
"Nothing Wrong With Eagle Creek"
I have golfed Eagle Creek many times over the past four years. The front nine holes are much different from the back nine. The front nine are wide fairways with very few obstructions and on a windy day, these holes can be as tough as any other holes in golf. Meanwhile, the back nine are just the opposite. The fairways are much more narrow and every hole except hole #13 is engulfed in trees. You must be very careful on the back nine because if you go in the trees you won't be making par on that hole. The wind is not so much a factor on the back nine but that's a plus since there is already so much to worry about. Still, it is a great course. If I had to make one complaint about this course, it is the fact that to just golf one round or even become a member the fees are a little ridiculous. It seems that most of the people who do or would like to golf there are locals and they can't afford to pay those type of fees. But again, that is my only complaint about this course. If I was asked to recommend one course to try, my answer would have to be Eagle Creek Golf Club in Willmar, Minnesota.
