Previously a military course, Red Fox Run has been open for public play since 1995. This extremely scenic course was built on rolling hills and is home to an abundance of wildlife. The fairways vary from being lined with Jack pine trees to being wide open. The somewhat undulating greens are medium to fast in speed. There are no water hazards, but there are several sand bunkers incorporated into the course's design. Hole #13, a 105-yard, par 3, recorded twelve "hole-in-ones" in 1995. This region of Michigan is best known for its long summer days, so it is possible to tee off at 8 PM and still get in eighteen holes.

Comments on Red Fox Run Golf Course, Apr 28, 2004
reviewer: Dennis J. ERICKSON from Bremerton, WA
I have played Red Fox Run GC approximately 100 times over a span of 20 plus years. I return home to Gwinn nearly every July and play anywhere from 5 to 15 rounds depending on mother nature. As a 1 Handicapper from Washington State, I can say that Red Fox Run GC is a golfers challenge as it offers two totally different 9's. The front 9 is open and forgiving and the back 9 is narrow and demanding of accuracy. I would recommend this course anytime. Denny ERICKSON, Bremerton, WA

Challenging!, Mar 22, 2004
reviewer: Jack Dudo from Marquette, MI
This is a varied and challenging course with a great terrain. It will invite you to use every club in your bag and is an honest representation of your game compared to par. Have fun!
