It's soooo easy, Apr 08, 2006

This course is very easy for anyone, even a beginner. The fairways are nothing but dirt and a little grass, and the greens are not cut low enough, so expect them to be very slow. I play for a high school golf team and I shot a 30 when we practiced there, so it is real easy.

Played South @ North Courses. South is short but challenging. Very enjoyable. Lots of character. Great condition. Flowers everywhere. North Course is a newly opened(2003) exceptional layout. Both courses are well worth the trip. You won't be disappointed.

"Great beginner course"
I grew up playing this course. As a kid, there was enough "forgiveness" on the course to keep my interest. Now that I've played for a few years, it's not my favorite, but still a nice course for those learning the game. Enough difficulty to learn to place shots and use a draw or fade, though. Also, the large creekbed running through the middle makes for some interesting tee shots on a few holes. The positive is, you can usually set up tee time day of. This makes it a nice course to just pick up the clubs and go hit if you feel the urge. In summer, BRING SUNSCREEN. Not much shade.
