This tree-lined course is nestled in the middle of the beautiful Bitterroot Valley and is surrounded by the Rocky Mountains. Water is the main hazard on this course, especially on the back nine, and sand bunkers protect several greens. A difficult hole is #11, a 501-yard, par 5, featuring a narrow, tree-lined landing area with a pond bisecting the fairway and a bunker protecting the front, left side of the green.

Excellent small town course!, Mar 04, 2005

I played in 2003 and the summer day was cool and refreshing. The greens were excellent. The fairways beautiful. The staff and fellow golfers courteous. It is fun to play the front/old nine with it's narrow fairways, mature towering trees, raised tee boxes, and relatively flat, raised greens then cross the road to the back/newer nine with it's contoured fairways, water, sand, and large undulating greens. It's like getting a two-for-one! I loved it (although I wish I had scored better ;-)

Gem in the Mountains, Apr 30, 2004

For the price and the scenery this course is unbeatable. Only $25 greensfees, an immaculately kept course and a view from the back nine that is hard to beat. I would say its worth the drive if you are ever anywhere in the Bitterroots.
