This old traditional course is enjoyable to play. The terrain is hilly, and the fairways are tree lined. Most of the small greens are sloped and putt true.

| Though this club is marked as private, it is actually a semi-private course allowing golfers from outside of Hamilton County, Texas to play for green fees of only $12.00. The course is well manicured and offers some very difficult play for those who challenge from the "back tees". The greens are well maintained and are Tifdwarf bermudagrass. The rough areas are very difficult as there tends to be now only high grass but rocks as well. Although there are no bunkers on the course, water comes into play on three holes and out of bounds on six holes |
