Though this club is marked as private, it is actually a semi-private course allowing golfers from outside of Hamilton County, Texas to play for green fees of only $12.00. The course is well manicured and offers some very difficult play for those who challenge from the "back tees". The greens are well maintained and are Tifdwarf bermudagrass. The rough areas are very difficult as there tends to be now only high grass but rocks as well. Although there are no bunkers on the course, water comes into play on three holes and out of bounds on six holes

Delaware Park Course
"Delaware 2003 review"
Delaware Park is a great place to learn to play golf because it offers open fairways, well maintained greens, no sand or water. There is hardly ever a bag line. There are 18 holes on relatively flat land. The trees present the only problems as many are in the fairways. The course conditions have shown vast improvement recently , especially in 2003 when new tee boxes were planted and benches were placed at each hole. It compares favorably, I think to the 2 other city courses, Cazenovia and South Park. Those courses offer just 9 holes each. The park setting is beautiful. If you want to practice without being intimidated, this is the place.

Holly Tree Country Club
"beautiful and testing"
Holly Tree offers a beatiful layout along rolling hills in Simpsonville. The holes are all unique with something special about each one that makes fun to play over and over. My favorite whole is number 17 because it is short dog leg left where ur first shot needs to be long and straight, and then its downhill from there with a short low approach onto a well protected green.

Waverly Oaks Golf Club - The Championship Course
"Great Day"
I played this course in July 2004 after playing two other near by Plymouth courses. It was a great day of golf. The course is challenging but fair. The greens were in perfect shape and the fairs as well.

A nice course, good value for under $20.00 each, not much more on weekends. Not much standing water for a Western Washington course in the winter.
