This course is known for it's signature hole, #13, a 350-yard, par 4. Golfers playing the #13 hole fairway have a view at Dartmouth College's ski jump. The terrain varies throughout the course. It contains hills, many steep inclines, plus some flat, straightaway fairways. Water hazards come into play on two holes. There are two other bodies of water, the Occom Pond and the Connecticut River, which do not come into play but add to the course's beauty. This course offers discount rates for employees and students.

Tradition, Jul 21, 2009

Hanover Country Club was redesigned a few years back and now combines the tradition of an old course with a few new twists and turns. While it's an Ivy League course, don't feel intimidated. From the little pro shop to the veranda overlooking the 18th green to the people on the course, there's a relaxed and friendly feel. And the course is fun although, to be fair, the new 17th is a challenge for young and old. Be sure to cross the road at the turn to grab a sandwich and cold drink at the Hanover Co-Op.

Very mature course, Jun 17, 2004

This course plays a lot longer than it reads on paper. Some neat fairways leading to well maintained greens. The club house has that old "Ivy League" feel to it. I've played it many times and would have enjoyed it more had I not been slapping black files. Bring bug spray.
