This course, which is part of The Great Gorge Golf Reserve, has been recognized as one of New Jersey's most challenging and spectacular golf layouts. It offers an incredible blend of rugged mountain terrain, towering grass mounds, and breathtaking views that create a lasting impression on the golfer's minds. The fairways that are tree lined and its large greens are undulating. You'll be faced with a daring tee shot on hole #10, a 178-yard, par 3, which has a tee box that is 125 feet above the enormous, butterfly-shaped green. In November of 1996, "New Jersey Golfer" named this the #1 public golf course in the state. The David Glenz Golf Academy is located on the premises and can be reached by calling (888) 794-6439.

| what an experience! i felt like i was flown over to scotland to play on the links. the mounds that line the fairways can make for some difficult shots. the par 3's on this course are spectacular. hole 5 plays uphill 30' to a green next to a cliff. 11 plays off a high ridge to 1 of 2 greens separated by a rock formation. this course is worth $50. |
