This course's fairways are very hilly and have some trees that can alter your shots. The signature hole is #8, a 150-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot from an elevated tee over a valley to an elevated and unusually shaped green. The course got its name from the green on this hole. The greens are mostly large and well cared for. There are two ponds that come into play on two holes. The wind comes into play about twice a week in the early afternoon.

| I learned to golf at his little course in Harrison MI. The staff couldn't be better and the patrons are equally as great. Dollar for dollar you just can't beat this 9 hole course. Don't be thinking that the Knob is all that easy until you give it a whirl. |

| A nice, relaxed fairly well-maintained course that is especially well suited for a beginner or novice just learning the game. Gets busy in the heat of summer, but greens fees are always very affordable. |
