This links-style course was built on rolling terrain. There is an abundance of wildlife living on the course, including herds of deer numbering up to sixty at times. The large greens are fast, undulating, and easy to three putt. In addition, water hazards come into play on two holes, so shot accuracy is essential.

Super County Owned Course, Sep 20, 2005 |

| This course is usually in excellent shape and for the money, is a great deal. The Head Pro is very nice and customer friendly. Can play tough from the tips. Can have very slow play on the weekends if you don't get an early tee time. Overall, I give it high marks and I think it is the best Hamilton County Parks course, even nicer than Vineyard. |

| the golf course was in very good shape..greens and fairways..the front nine has hilly terrain and challenges your second shots and the back nine is wide open but has slightly more difficult greens. Overall a very enjoyable experience |

New golfer feel of golf courses, Nov 09, 2004 |

| Great golf course next to lake. However confusing on getting from one hole to another because women's tee can be down the hill or further than men's and often have to shoot over cart path to green. Needs pointers to next tee. There are stone numbers. I was not the only one confused, even though new to golf. Others who playt there regularly also said so, But golf courses from the county are all taken care of and this was very dry and grass clippings were not a problem or the leaves in November. Only at sunset, the sun makes it hard to find your balls. Beautiful sunset though. |

| Beautiful park setting and very well maintained. Harder than it used to be as trees have matured. At county course prices, it is a steal! |
