This club has an eighteen hole regulation course, a nine hole regulation course, plus a nine hole par 3 course that is lit for night play. The club is best known for its southern hospitality. All three courses were built and are still operated by one family, going back five generations. These courses' fairways are frequently watered and lined with pine trees. The undulating greens are large, and water hazards come into play on all three courses.

Stayed here for a three day weekend on the "all inclusive package". Everyone was extremely disappointed with the course maintenance and staff of the resort. All tee boxes remained backed up due to the course starting off with two par 3's and the staff not allowing groups off the back 9 or back 27 which ultimately caused our tee times (along with everyone else) to be pushed back by 90 minutes every morning. The condition of the course is beaten down and in desperate need of water. The onsite staff was rude, short tempered and removed our bags from our carts and left them in the parking lot without notice while we were eating. Along with our bags being left in the parking lot, belongings came up missing from carts. Overall saying it was a horrible experience is being generous on behalf of Bright Leaf; I do not recommend this course to anyone and suggest you stay far away from it.

Wide open fairways and large soft greens. This course is made for your average and below average golfer. Serious golfers need to look elsewhere. Weekend Tee times are impossible to get unless you are staying in the hotel owned by the golf course.
