This course, which was cut through the woods, is very hilly and features undulating greens throughout the design. Water comes into play on seven holes, and sand bunkers are located on nearly every hole. Hole #17 is an outstanding par 5 with a split fairway and a creek running through the middle. "Golf Digest" selected this course 8th among the "Top 10 Best New Affordable Courses" for 1996. Eagle Knoll has been awarded a 4 1/2 star rating for 2004, and voted the third best value in public golf in the nation. The senior discount is available on Monday through Friday.

Different than any course you've ever played., Jun 05, 2010
reviewer: Pat Carl from Missouri
This course is situated on the Missouri River Bluffs and they have created a beautiful and challenging course from the natural terrain. This course is well worth distance traveling just to play it. It's my favorite of any course in any state that I have ever played.

Challenging, Scenic and Fun, Apr 12, 2005
reviewer: C Reubin from Rockford, IL
I have traveled over 300 miles to play this course on two different occasions. A true joy to play. Every hole is a challenge, like all 4 par threes that call for very accurate tee shots, #17 which calls for accurate and powerful shots and my favorite, #14(?), which tests your mind to either go for the green with a driver or to play up short of the large pond. I can't wait to get back to Missouri again to play another round.

Fun course, Nov 08, 2004

Very challenging layout with lots of elevation changes and beautiful surrounding countryside. Also has excellent greens. Similar to Lake of the Ozarks courses but at a much better price.

This was a wonderful course to play. It is well layed out and very well maintained. The fairways wander among the hills and forest. Bad shots off the fairways may mean a lost ball. We played the course while traveling across country and totally enjoyed it.

Greatness, May 15, 2004
reviewer: Ryan K from Jefferson City, MO
This course is amazing! The layout is tough and you will use every club that is in your bag. The greens have some slop and movement to them, but they putt so true it's unbelievable. Playing this course was an honor and at it's prices I know I'll be able to come back and enjoy it again. If I had to rank all the courses I've played in my life, this would no doubt top the list.

Great Course!, Feb 16, 2004

This is a superb course... Every shot counts, but is possible. Hotter during the summer but worth every bit of time and effort. I highly encourage people to play this course.
