| Oak Grove is an excellent golf course. In great
shape, fast and true greens and reasonably priced. In the springtime, you can see all of the golf ball carcasses in the ungrown prairie grass (this is links style at certain points).
Its only shortcoming is that it is next to the
Wisconsin border, quite the cruise, especially in traffic. If the course were less than 30 miles from Chicago, it would cost $ 100 like Thunderhawk, etc., so if you don't mind nearly an hour drive from Rte 53 & 90, go play it. |
