This course, built on rolling hills, features tree-lined fairways. There are over 15 acres of water hazards and more than 70 white sand bunkers. At times, the wind is a considerable factor. You may walk the course if you use a power caddy, which you can rent for the same price as a golf cart. A David Leadbetter Golf School is located on the premises. Recently purchased by the Holiday Organization, the golf course has been renovated by golf course architect Stephen Kay. The previous Joe Lee design opened in June 1990. It is a championship par 71 layout measuring 6,515 yards.

The course is very challenging, with a lot of water and sand, and mostly narrow fairways. Very well kept.

All serious Long Island golfers should play this very challenging course. The course design is great and the layout is very picturesque. This is my favorite Island course. The greens fee are pricey but you will not be disappointed with this one.

Beautiful golfcourse, - well maintained. I ran a par 4 out of the 16th hole, but soon made up for that in the fairway! We were all exausted by the tour! Next time I'll bring a cart!
