This enjoyably-challenging eighteen hole course is compact and tight. The greens are well-maintained with subtle breaks. There is not too much bunkering around both the greens and fairways. The fairways are fairly restrictive, half are tree lined, half are flat and reasonably open. The signature hole is #14, a 221-yard, par 3, which plays slightly downhill through a corridor that is considerably tree lined. A swamp area behind the green adds to the challenge on this hole.

"Dutch"
A tremendous couse in a beautiful mountain setting, especially in September and October when in full fall foliage, the afternoon temperatures in the low 70's and the skies so blue the horizon lines become razor sharp. The back nine challange you with mountain streams, blind doglegs, an occasional buck jumping from a creek bed and or lofty tee boxes daring you to choose a loftier iron for dropping it between the aspens and the traps.... Not too many courses in the world offer better views, thinner air for longer drives, or nicer people to pamper your needs. July through mid October is prime... take plenty of time and the closest of friends, I guarantee you a memorable experiance and a challanging round!

Nice place. Course O.K. My dad played here allot in the 70's, says he couldn't believe they built homes in it! (he used to live in Sunnydale, next to it.)Only thing I could "complain" about is the skimpy parking lot! Clubhouse was real nice, and the gentleman I spoke to there, (I believe his name was Bob) was very Knowledgable.

Ramsey Golf Club
"Good Challenge"
Although Ramsey might not be in the best shape it is still a very challenging course with a tough layout. You can find yourself in trouble of pretty much every hole on the course if you don't hit it straight or know how to shape your ball. Take advantage of the easy start Holes #1 and #2 provide as the rest of the front can be a major challenge. The back 9 can be long but there isn't as much trouble.
