This course was built on an old farm site and located in a valley, surrounded by the Great Smoky Mountains. The course was built on rolling terrain. Its fairways are wide open and native grasses and wildflowers are a part of the rough. Ponds, lakes and streams come into play on thirteen holes. The most difficult hole is #8, a 434-yard, par 4, which is also the number one handicap hole.
