This course features tree-lined fairways and fast greens. Water hazards (five lakes) come into play on seven holes. The signature hole is #18, a 516-yard, par 5, requiring a tee shot to a narrow landing area framed by large oak trees and a creek coming into play 280 yards off the tee box, then an approach shot to a green guarded by a huge oak tree.

| An excellent challenge for the average golfer. Par 3's vary from a couple of easy, short holes to a couple 180 yard tough to hit greens, especially with the winds that you experienece almost every day at this course. Not a particlarly long course, but does have a few holes in which your distance will be tested if you want to score. With an average amount of sandtraps and water on several holes, spraying your tee shots will cost you!! The course has been in great condition every time I have played it, with the exception of any long stretches of a lot of rain, but that is any courses challenge! If you are in the area I would definately recommend the Oaks Golf Club!! |
