This course opened in February, 1999. The design features sweeping elevation changes captured within a wide-open links look. The greens, which are well-protected by sand bunkers, are fairly hard and roll fast. One of the more challenging holes is #12, a 611-yard, par 5, which features a two-acre sand bunker guarding the left side. The reaction from golfers who have played this young course has been very enthusiastic, with high praise given to the good condition of both the greens and fairways. This course has lots to offer for the amateur to seasoned pro.

| Fun course with decent layout. I usually go to www.clickforteetimes.com and get a good weekday afternoon rate, 10-15 bucks with a cart, which for the money can't be beat. The nice thing about the course is there are no houses around, only a few horse ranches in the distance. I would definetly recommend giving it a try. |

ok course, but there are better elsewhere!, Mar 01, 2008 |

| As stated in a previous review > course has nice "views all around", but what of the golf. To me, a great (or even good) course MUST have a reasonable layout and good greens. Otherwise, why not just play in a cowpasture!! Well, this course has several problems. 1) PACE OF PLAY can be SLOW, especially during the week! On weekends, no such problem due to the MUCH higher green fees. 2) The GREENS are a mixed (up!) bunch > some are slow and somewhat receptive, others are a hard as rocks!! For example, on one par 4 with 9 iron in hand and after a well struck shot my ball (Pro V1x) bounched higher than my head! (I am 6 feet tall!). Needless, to say this ball went way over the green > aarrgghh!! SECONDLY, the GREENS get very CRUSTY and BUMPY in the afternoon > so if you plan to play this course play as early as possible otherwise pass it up! 3) Thirdly, is the layout anything special? Well, if you're in Hemet with nothing to do, I suppose it is ok, but otherwise I would keep driving and find something better! 4) Finally, to echo a comment given in a previous review > BOTH the customer service AND FOOD are WAY BELOW AVERAGE! In fact, one of the days I was there, the guy giving out tees times constantly ignored us to talk to a fellow employee about "his day so far". Thus, I give it 2 stars for the views around the area and nothing else! |

| The course had a very nice layout with some beautiful backdrop of the mountains. The greens were not in very good condition, some are quick and some are slow. You can hear the ball rub the grass like a scratching noise when putting. The pro shop service was not up to par at all, poor customer service from the desk. Would rather pay more for better service. Bring your own lunch if you plan to eat there. The food is horrible and there's no place else around. |

| Always enjoy playing here. Plays longer than the card shows with lots of challenging features. This course is as good as any in the Inland Empire. Best feature is price and still somewhat unknown to many. |

Bring your "A" game..., Nov 14, 2004 |
| reviewer: Greg Martin
from San Diego, CA |
| I had heard that the course was tight with trouble on both sides and fast greens. All of which is correct. Bring your "A" game and make sure whatever you hit off of the tee is straight. Sacrifice a 3 wood if you need to ensure you go straight. The course is short to begin with, but short is never indicative of easiness. Great conditions even late in the season (November). Narrow, rolling fairways; bunkers littering the fairways and protecting greens; water protecting a number of the greens. Greens: Brush up on your short game as you need to "take dead aim" on most of the greens (coming up short or going long usually leaves you with a monster putt with serious breaks and undulations). The fairways narrow a bit on the approach. Precision is the key here!Whether off the tee, on the approach, or around the greens. A couple of the par 5s are reachable in two but it is a risky challenge (see above ahout the bunkers and greens). It is worth the drive from San Diego. I highly recommend this course and hope this review is helpful when you take the trip. |

Good Course, May 23, 2004 |

| There were a few greens that are under repair. Apparently some mini-biker hoodlums rode on the 18th green and another (can't remember which one right off). Good challenging course. Lots of bunkers and water protecting the greens. Didn't lose 1 ball, which is a first for me. Played mid-afternoon and was just fine as far as heat. The wind kicks up a bit around then so be prepared to adjust. |
