This links-style course is situated on relatively level terrain, but the design does feature a copious amount of mounding around the fairways and greens. Twelve lakes and a proliferation of sand bunkers combine to make the layout extremely challenging. The most difficult hole on the course is #5, a 445-yard, par 4. After carrying water off the tee and contending with two large fairway bunkers, this hole culminates with a downhill approach shot to a well-bunkered green.

Hidden Gem in Henderson, Aug 05, 2005

Very nice golf course which (from what I hear) has been recently improving the conditions and layout. The opening 4 holes need to mature and add directional markers (all the tee shots are blind on #1-3), but this could be the best course in the Evansville area with a couple more years of good maintenance.
