Fun But Tough, Jul 06, 2004

The begining golfer probably won't enjoy a day at Country Hills. This course offers plenty of water and trees, along with some very deep sand bunkers and lots of rolling hills. I normally shoot in the low to mid 90's on 18. Though the course was not completely to blame, I shot a 63 on 9 my first time at this course! Aside from its difficulty, Country Hills is one of the most beautiful courses in the county. The rolling hills and a few peeks at Old Hickory Lake make for great scenery! My only complaint would be that the guys at the counter in the pro shop were not very friendly. However, the rest of the staff was super nice.

Country Hills, May 07, 2004

A cut up course from it's original design. There are two holes on this course that need to be torn out and redesigned. #6 and #15 are on the rediculous side with # 15 being just down right unfair. The fairway has about a 35* bank that leads right down to a hazard. Greens are solid and fast. Kept well maintained by a pleasant staff. If you play here, you will play the mosted hated hole in Mid-Ten # 15
