This club has three eighteen hole regulation courses. The West and East courses are for members and their guests only. The South Course is open to the public. The West Course's signature hole is #5, a 176-yard, par 3, with spectacular scenery, including a view of the Hershey mansion. The West Course was formally the annual site of the LPGA Tour's Lady Keystone Open Tournament. "Golf Digest" rated this course as the #1 "Best Public Course" in the state for 1996. The East Course has elevated greens on sixteen holes. The South Course is a fairly tight course with numerous out-of-bounds stakes lining the holes. Holes #7, 8, and 9 are the hardest holes to play. Water comes into play on only a few holes. The par for the ladies' tee on the West Course is actually 76.

Very Good Course, May 05, 2004

Hershey East is one of the most demanding 2nd shot golf courses in central PA. All of the greens except for a few are elevated and crowned. Precision iron shots are a must at the East Course. Although 2nd shots must be at a premium, bring out your Big Dog to play today, b/c from the back tees, it's a long one. Always in great shape, greens can be slow at times, but overall a great golf course and a great test both mentally and physically. Only reason it's not 5 Stars is the price. A little overpriced as are most golf courses, but $120 to ride is absurd. If you can afford to play it, then do it. It's a beautiful track and it's no wonder why the Nationwide Tour players love to play it. Enjoy!!!

Antelope Hills Golf Course
"Diamond in the rough"
In July, 2003 I had the chance to try out this little 9 hole course and I was very satisfied with my experience. The fairways were in tremendous condition and the greens offered a perfect putting surface. We could hear the coyotes howling as we started our round in the morning. The peacefulness alone (my wife and I were the only people on the course) was worth the price of green fees. The green fees, by the way, are very reasonable. The scenery from the first tee is spectacular, especially if you glance to the west. If you're looking for a tough challenge, this isn't the course for you. The course is not too challenging but is a perfect stop if you're a beginner or coming out of Yellowstone and want to just relax on the course. It's very wide open so you shouldn't lose any balls. My wife is a beginner golfer and had a very enjoyable round. Everything is well-maintained and we found the staff to be courteous and friendly. I plan on returning to play this course again and I highly recommend you give it a try. Definitely a course to walk (not ride) to get the full enjoyment.

Mount Vernon Country Club
"Good course management required"
This tight, tree-lined venue has numerous doglegs, precise bunkering and water on 14 holes. Those challenges, combined with relatively short length make it a serious test for all levels of players. Four sets of tees accommodate virtually all golfers. The club does not discriminate against women in membership or availability of tee times. Exceptional food and service are other attributes which make this club a tremendous value.
