This course is well known for its unique design. A variety of settings make up the composition of the holes. On some holes you will play through a hardwood forest, on other holes the fairways are lined with tall pine trees, still others feature the wetlands or are highlighted by the sparkling river flowing throughout the course.

A must play for every golfer, May 03, 2004

i have played over 100 rounds at this tranquil and serene golf course. It was the first 18 hole course I played, lost 33 balls that day. Everytime i play, I enjoy it like it was the first time. No Daly's here, you must bring your target game here, especially from the Blue Tees.. Oh, also I was married by the 18th green...Itwas perfect 85 degree weather in October

That being said, here's pros and cons: PROs: carts in decent shape, decent greens, challenging hilly course w/water obstacles, pro shop has wood stove and good hot dogs! Affordable alternative to other local courses CONS: no sand to be found on the property (could be a pro...), no driving or chipping area, cart paths mimick Cabarrus county backroads(disrepair),pro shop reminds me of a musty old general store but less merchandise, lots of backyards in which to hit your drives...
