This course is completely irrigated, and the greens and tees were built to USGA specifications. The fairways are narrow because they are lined by apple trees on both sides. The greens are elevated, and water hazards (ponds) come into play on eleven holes. The signature hole is #10, a 310-yard, par 4, which plays over two ponds to an apple-shaped green with bunkers shaped as leaves. Carts are mandatory before noon on weekends. Nine hole rates are only available on weekdays after 2 PM and on weekends and holidays after 4 PM. The 5,363-yard men's tee also has a ladies' course rating of 69.9 and a slope of 125.

Drive a bit over a hour to play course. Always well maintained. Pro shop, starter and rangers courteous and informed. Good test for mid-handicap (15) players.

I recently played Apple Greens. I have never seen such a course. It is a very beautiful course with above average challenge. This is in "mountain goat" country.

My friends and I travel an hour on Saturdays during the summer to get some really nice early tee times. This course is built within an old Apple Grove. It's very well maintained, quite challenging with very friendly staff. Great scenery, some very nice long holes and challenging Par 3's! Lots of water on this course.

Currently has 27 very good holes. The East course provides some magnificent views from mountain tee boxes. Playing conditions are good and you'll run into some challenging holes. There are several blind tee shots that can be difficult unless you are familiar with the course. The restaurant and bar are enjoyable as well.
