One of my favorites, Jul 05, 2007

This is a great course to play. It is casual and affordable. $8 for 9 holes on weekdays. Not a lot of real long holes so you can work on your iron shots. Try it you will like it!

Excellent little 9-hole course with very friendly staff. Good for beginners and intermediate players. I definitely recommend this course to anyone getting out on a sunny oregon day.

Killarney is weel kept and staffed with friendly people. Not only is there rate very affordable, but the fairways and grren are in good shape. I do not hesitate to recommend this course to anyone.....

"Good Starter Course"
For an inexpensive, well maintained course to play while you are learning the basics of golf, this course is the one to play on. No par 5's. The course has good water, and easy par 3's that are helpful when you feel the pressure of the group behind you when your beginning. For the price, the location in Fountain Valley's Mile Square Park is beautiful, and I've never felt that a person starting off in the sport would feel embarrassed to make a mistake at this course.

This is a great course kept in extremely good shape. It is a little far out from Houston but if you live anywhere on the north side, it's well worth the drive. It's inexpensive and not crowded, especially on weekdays. The greens are in very good shape and the course is challenging without being a killer.

"1 goofy hole"
I like this golf course, but 1 hole make it less than stellar. Number 12 is a ridiculous 90 degree dogleg that takes away from the rest of the course. Speed of play has been exceptional every time I have played, but that 1 idiotic hole ruins ithe backside. I suggest moving up the box and making it a par 3 or redoing it altogether.
