This extremely scenic course has homes and trees lining all its fairways. In addition, the fairways are all bordered by a standard cut of rough. Water hazards come into play on a number of holes, and sand bunkers have been strategically placed around the course. The most difficult hole is #14, a 361-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot over a creek, then an approach shot over a small pond to the green. Leon Howard designed the back nine, which opened in 1970. Only homeowners of Hilltop Lakes are allowed to be members of this private club.

Found Bueaty in Nature, Apr 06, 2004 |

| A golf course that is quiet, peaceful, senic and full of teeth. What I mean is, this is a beautiful place to pile up some strokes, if you are not really on your game. You get the works here, sand, water, trees, down hill, up hill, and some tricky greens. A beautiful place to play and a real "Honey for the Money" . |

TOUGH COURSE AND NEAT LAYOUT, Mar 18, 2004 |

from CROSBY, TX |
| THIS IS A GREAT COURSE, THOUGH NOT AS BEAUTIFUL AS SOME OF THE MORE EXPENSIVE COURSES. IT IS A NEAT LAYOUT WITH SOME TOUGH HOLES AND SOME EASY ONES. ENJOYABLE COURSE AND NOT VERY BUSY. MUST BE MEMBER OR GUEST OF MEMBER, BUT VERY ENJOYABLE 30-40 MINUTES FROM BRYAN OR MADISONVILLE. |
