This executive nine hole course is surrounded by a water treatment plant with channels running on both sides of the course. The surrounding water results in three of the nine holes requiring a tee shot over water to the green. The fairways are fairly flat and sand bunkers are spread throughout the course. The scenic layout also features numerous palm trees lining the holes. With all the hazards, accuracy and ball placement is crucial to achieving par. The Westlake Wildlife Preserve is also located next to the course.

Tough, Narrow, But Fun, Oct 12, 2005 |

| A tough course, it has narrow fairways, and ball hungry mangroves. If you play in the summer take some insect repellant. It is very close to the ocean and there are a lot of marshy areas, the mosquitoes and especially the no-see ums were eating my son and me alive. It got so bad he stopped playing and refused to get out of the cart, I finished but was literally running between shots. I played the fastest round of my life. |
