This course is known for its beautiful lakes and as the toughest course in Cumberland County. The greens were reconstructed in 1995-96 and are kept in excellent condition. The fairways are tree lined. The signature hole is #9, a 215-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over a lake.

| I have played all public courses in Fayetteville and surrounding areas and Cypress Lakes is by far the best. Well maintained course with greens that rival the best courses in the U.S. You won't find greens more true than here. All carts are equipped with GPS, so no more walking around looking for markers. Fees are right on par with other courses that don't have GPS capabilities. A challenging, yet fair test of golf. You have to play this one, you won't be disappointed. |

| One of the best courses in the area. Fairways and Greens in excellent condition.However they are manicured to make you pay for any misplaced shots.Fantastic scenery with a lot of old black water cypress lakes.It's my understanding this is the course Raymond Floyd grew up on. Good clubhouse and snackbar. Has a Driving range to let you warm up. |
