This course has several long par 4's, including a 440-yarder on the last hole. In addition, there are ponds that come into play on two holes. Even though the course is predominantly flat, there are some hilly areas on the course which will cause uneven lies. In spite of the fact that this area was originally farmland, the club has planted plenty of dogwood, oak, maple, fir, and pine trees alongside their wide-open fairways. The course offers beautiful views of the Hudson Valley and is especially rewarding to the eye during the fall color changes. There is an additional set of tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round.

Highland Springs Golf Course
"Great couse."
This course is a great example of Ozark Mountain terrain. Flawless greens, oceans of water, and large greenside and fairway bunkers make this golf course a 5 star course. The layout is a bit easier than your traditional 5 star PGA Tour Championship courses. The Nike/Buy.com/whatever its name is this year tour uses this course each year for one of its tournaments and the players always remark on quality maintenance.

The fairways here are nice, the greens protect the course and make it extraordinarily challenging. It doesn't play long but you have to be a good iron player to shoot anywhere in the 70's.
