This is a very demanding course. It was built on gently rolling hills, and features tree-lined fairways and large greens. The course overlooks the scenic Minnehaha Creek. golf at raymondville g&cc, is truly an unforgettable experience. the greens are well watered and the bent grass is excellent.there are many challenging holes., the first tee to green is a whopping par 5.with water about 180 yds left.towering trees protect right side, so u must hit a high drive to clear trees. then u have decent chance to get a birdie.7,8 and 9 are long long drives. clubhouse is fantastic

He is considered one of the best minimalist designers working today. The members of this course are hiding a real gem in Southeast Texas.

Redstone Golf Course - Hillside/Meadowview Course
"The Arsenal Courses"
Hillside and Meadowview are generally better than Whispering Pines. Each nine has its own character. Hillside was renovated in 2001. For the low price the courses are pretty good. The fairways are pretty wide, some, but not a lot of trouble, although there are a few very challenging holes on each nine. The ninth on Hillside used to be a par four, so its fun for us duffers to play a par five that we can reach in two evry once in a while. The ninth on Meadowview requires a good drive over water, # 7 is a 192 par three with a green that is not very deep but very wide.The course is kept in pretty good condition yearround. Not much water or sand.

What a treat to play this golf course. Well layed out and challenging in a nice setting. The staff are great and you can't beat the price. I have played it many times and it is my first choice to play in the area.
