This course features many oak and pine trees lining its fairways. The course has small greens, and water hazards come into play on five holes. A second nine holes opened in the spring, 1995, and features four open holes and five that meander through the woods. Locals say that you should be prepared to use every club in your bag. On weekends, you can play this course all day for a single rate.

This course is very nice and it is in pretty good shape dispite lack of rain fall. There is a tree in the middle of a green on a hole on the back 9 that could pose a problem.

Great Course, always well maintained, Aug 25, 2004

This course offers wide open holes for your big slicing and hooking types, and narrow tree lined holes for your down the middle types. Something for everyone. A challenging but fun course, very picturesque in spots. It's always kept in great shape, and the adjacent bluffs provide great scenery. It's what golfing should be -- relaxing!

The course runs along the Mississippi bluffs just south of La Cresent, MN. The frist nine offer some tricky shots - best to have a local around to show you the shortcuts. The back 9 is long for the average golfer and the rye grass between fairways can create trouble when wet. With the large amount of local rainfall this year, the course is looking good and the Friday special green fees make this the place to play.
