Course is in horrible shape, poor service., Nov 27, 2006
reviewer: MK Golfer from Houston, TX
I played the Masters course with a few golf buddies of mine last week, and found that we wasted our money, even for as cheap as it was. Hackers were abundant at this course. There was a greenskeeper spraying down one of the greens while we were trying to hit into it. The starter was arrogant, and boasted that if I shot my handicap, he would buy me beer. The tee boxes had grass so high that my driver needed to be wiped down after every shot, seriously. It really took away the essence of being on a golf course, and made all of us want to quit and go to another course. This would be a great course for beginners, as you be amongst other hackers and denim wearing golfers. We play public courses around Houston all of the time, and this course was definitely one of the worst.

bumpy greens!!??, Jun 13, 2005
reviewer: Billy Byrd from Houston
Heard a lot of negative comments from people that think the greens are bumpy...tell me which course has "perfect" greens! A great test of golf for any skill level, and just yesterday (June 12,2005) I carded 33 putts on my round. Some of them were the dreaded 10-12 footers as well. Great course, soft greens - so repair your ball marks - had fun.

Bear Creek Masters, Feb 06, 2005
reviewer: Andre from Houston, TX
I think this is a great course. I have played it 5 times over the last 2 years. The greens have been excellent 3 of the times and good 2 of the times. I like the fact that they let you walk, even on the weekends. The only problem with the masters course is the tee boxes on some of the par 3 holes. For some reason the tee boxes on the par 3's only are extremely sloped and impossible to find a flat spot on. I don't get why, but that's the way it is. Overall the Masters course is sweet and definately worth playing over and over.
