This course was closed for a period of time, but was reopened to the public in 1979. This is one of the eight municipal courses within the City of Houston. Water hazards (man-made lakes) come into play on holes #10 and #14. Almost all of the fairways are tree lined.

Relatively flat and open. Usually in good shape, even in winter. A good place to walk.

This course is very inexpensive, and usaully in pretty good condition. Some holes are very long and some are too short. Not many hazards.. walker friendly course.

Long open fairways, water does not come into play, large greens with little undulation, recent work to add cart paths and recondition select holes. A bargain value course for keeping your game in tune.
