This course has water hazards coming into play on at least thirteen different occasions and several hidden sand bunkers. The plush fairways are narrow and tree lined, and most greens are small and elevated. The signature hole is #11, a 389-yard, par 4, featuring a dogleg left fairway that hides the green. Garrett Gill and George Williams redesigned this course.

Almost 4-stars now...it's still improving, Mar 28, 2006

|This course has been bought out like many in the Houston area, but instead of getting worse under new management, this course has gotten better. The fairways are green, the greens are in great shape and it's an all around fun day on the course. The staff and the players (most seem to be regulars) are friendly and golf etiquette is not lost on them. Also, walkers are allowed pretty much anytime, but they'll almost always wave through cart-players. The course itself is fairly open, so it's not the most difficult course you can play, but it still requires good course management. There are trees lining almost every fairway, so accuracy is a plus, but missing the fairway doesn't have to mean double-bogey out here. The best thing is, this course is VERY inexpensive, considering how nice it plays. The course is not very long (only 6642 from the back tees), but it can still challenge your ability to make shots. Try World Houston golf and enjoy a nice round of golf and still be able to afford lunch when you're done.|
