Greens, Howard Lake, MN, Mar 23, 2004

Greens is a nine hole course in Howard Lake, MN. Ignore the two star rating on this if you are a high handicap player and want to get better at the game or if you are working on a facet of the game and want to take the new game out for a spin. Price won't be a problem so if you want to just hit even number clubs, no problem. This course is fun to play and if you have time during the day during the week walk right on, no wait. The fairways are somewhat rough in a few places but greens are generally well kept, medium paced and sized. You will generally see at least one groundskeeper out on the course working to keep the course tidy and maintained. Number eight dogleg right has always driven me a little crazy but finally got a four on it last fall. You can stop in for a snack after your round in the clubhouse and may even find homemade soup.
