Green Meadow Golf Club - Prairie Course

59 Steele Rd
Hudson, NH 03051
Phone: (603)889-1555Fax: (603)880-6877

This facility offers two eighteen hole courses. The Jungle Course is more challenging than the Prairie Course. There are water hazards that come into play on ten holes, plus many trees and sand bunkers that can alter your shots. The Prairie Course is very hilly, so expect many uneven lies. The fairways are wide and tree lined, and water hazards only come into play on a few holes.

both 18's get VERY busy here. you may be in for a long round. they have a long season and the course gets alittle beat up over the season. the course does drain well; fairly easy layout. easy to walk. plenty of hotel/motel near by as well as lots of good bar/restrnts.golf and ski warehouse right next door with large driving range....all in all a decent golf course for a fair price but again gets REAL busy...

Excellent greens for a public course, May 14, 2009
reviewer: Lawrence from North Hampton, NH
Very good course to play for a short game: the greens are fast and aprons fair. Public courses are usually not this good!!

Green Meadow, May 11, 2009
reviewer: TV from North Chelmsford, MA
I have been playing golf for about three or four years and every year I find myself at Green Meadow more often than not. I think this course is a great value and pretty well maintained throughout the season. I think service could be a bit better but..I'm a Restaurant Manager from New England i.e. (service could always be a little better) so be it.. As for the course itself, I love it..two full 18's and have yet to wait behind more than one group..All in all, I feel like I'm playing in my back yard..only wish there was some kind of membership in order to play unlimited golf..

Outstanding public golf course and in excellent condition. This course has been one of the best maintained public course in New England for many years.

WORST SERVICE EVER, Aug 01, 2008
reviewer: AVIOD GREEN MEADOW from Nashua NH
I don't think I have ever been treated so poorly. Read the reviews, apperantly there is a pattern here. We went on Friday 07/25/08, afternoon. The little High School girl working the counter was rude to the guys in front of us, and even worse to us. We did not even know each other, but when we got outside they asked me what her problem was. I told them I read this place had terrible service. The starter, not only was a jerk but there was a back up of at least 3 groups on every hole. He was more concerned about socializing with his freinds then making sure people had an enjoyable day. 3.5 hours for 9 easy holes. AVIOD this place like the plague. Overlook, Buck Meadow, Poneham Green, all treat you like a customer. Green Meadow acts like it is an honor for you to golf their. I cant believe how rude the people at the counter are.

Liked it., Jul 30, 2008

I really like this course, I think it is a very good value. I have played often and except for the cart person with the cold drinks not coming out as often as I like I have no complaints. I really like the fact that they give rain checks in the event of a rain out before your finished.

Pretty Bad, Jul 26, 2008
reviewer: Jim from Mass
The place is a mess. The rough is not maintained properly, and the greens are terrible. Fairways are fair, but beat up. Pro shop not well stocked. This place was up for sale a couple of years ago - I wish it had stayed sold! Go somewhere else.
