| Yes, the course was just awful in 2006, but in 2007 everything changed. The greens were put back in shape and the fairways were well groomed.

| This was an overall mediocre course with TERRIBLE service. The rangers and workers are very rude and apparently have no respect for female golfers.
We had a tournament there, and one of the rangers kept yelling at the women's team for "playing too slow". When one of the women went to hit her second shot, she had to wait for the people to get off the green so she wouldn't hit them. The ranger told them to hit anyways because they couldn't hit that far.
On top of that, one of the guys tried to bring beer in his bag. Not only was ic confiscated, but the other guy said if he caught him again, he would throw him off the course with no refund.
All and all a sickening experience.

| This is an easy course which can be nice if you need an ego boost. But that's not why I'm writing. I'm writing to report that we had a terrible experience with the course ranger (this occurred last year). If I were to cover all of the details here it would take too long and it would be hard to believe that I wasn't making at least some of it up. So I'll just say that on that particular day a certain ranger unfairly targeted my group for some reason that wasn't obvious to me. (I was a single grouped with three pretty nice guys who weren't making trouble or slowing anyone down.) The ranger was way out-of-bounds in his treatment of us. And I mean wa-a-a-ay out-of-bounds. As in over the top. I'll say no more, except to say that he must have had a hair across his ass that day, because that's the only explanation I can come up with. And no, this wasn't the young punk that is referred to in one of the earlier postings.
Bottom line, it will take a lot for me to go back to this dog track, pay good money to play a puny, unkempt course, and be treated like dirt. |
