This nine hole course offers a country setting, playing around a sixty-acre lake, which does not come into play unless someone has a very severe hook off the tee. The greens are very large and flat without too many surprises. There are over 90,000-square-feet of greens on the course. The fairways are open. Presently there are no sand bunkers and few trees, however, bunkering and tree planting are in future plans.

| The course at Kirkman's is open and free of sand traps, but don't let open ground fool you into thinking that the course can't be tough. Fairways narrow in places that give one pause before taking a risky shot to the green. Although the water in the area does not come into play if the wind is blowing several holes will have you talking to yourself when your ball lands short!! Large greens are easy to hit, but don't leave yourself too long a putt or bogeys will come quickly. |
