This is a very well maintained course. The proshop is nice and the Thunderbird driving range and Thunderbird North course are very nice as well.

Course is usually in excellent shape and has good drainage. All eighteen holes are pretty much wide open because it is a "young course". As the trees grow this course will become tougher 18. If you're looking for a challenge, play Thunderbird North. If your looking to fine tune your game, you can't lose with the South course.

"Nice Layout"
Course is well laid out, no worry of hitting into or being hit by other fairways. Golf community with housing that doesn't inhibit play. Bent grass greens are small, but fast and true. Traps need work. Rolling terrain provides challenge. Water hazards on about half the holes. Pretty course.

"Best course i have played on"
This course is the finnest course i have played on. If your looking for a challenge and some senery while your at it this is the course for you. With the somewhat more open fornt nine and the most closed back nine i have played on ever it provides a challenge to any golfer.

Occoneechee Golf Club
"Golf at a value"
Occ. golf course is a nice course if you are looking for value in a round of golf. The course is always in good condition, the staff is pleasant and the course is enjoyable, yet not easy, if you play it from the blue tees. The course is adequately and accurately marked with yardage to the greens. The front and back nine are very different and thus give some variety to the round. It is no Pinehurst, but those that play there love their golf and know proper golf etiquette. It is a real value for the dollar.
