Surprisingly Fun, Jun 23, 2008 |

| Hadnt played course in years - and was pleasantly surprised in both the condition (although a bit rough around the edges) and the track. Its no Waverly or Granite Links - but for an "everyday" course its permanently on the list. Go expecting a time where you hit all your clubs, most holes have character, and you'll have fun for sure. |

Amazing!, Mar 13, 2008 |

| George Wright is simply amazing. The beautiful clubhouse resembles a small tudor manor, with high vaulted ceilings in the bar area, and the old locker room still has its original character. Terraced steps and stone walls lead out to the 1st tee and putting green. Don't let the opening hole fool you; 2-18 will really test you with blind shots, elevation changes, and postage stamp-sized greens. Sometimes, I was the only player on the back nine. Love GW. Try it. |

George Wright GC Rocks!, Jan 02, 2008 |

| OK, so the course might not be in the best shape (hence four stars instead of five), but for the price, who can argue? Everybody there is super laid back and nice, which for Boston is saying something. Donald Ross wasn't given a whole lot of room to make a course, so it is a tight, short track, but that is part of the charm. Seeing how he made it work is part of the fun, even if the classic DR elevated turtle back greens aren't. The layout is just plain cool. If you're in the neighborhood, definitely check it out. It's worth the price of admission every time. |

| Great layout...classic Ross...mediocre condition. This course rewards good shots and eats up bad ones. Course gives you many options off the tee...back in the day when men where men and players used persimmon drivers and balata balls this place was a classic! Modern technology has somewhat made the course obsolete for the better golfers but it is still fun to play. |

| For all you spoiled rich suburbanites stay away, this is for the city kid. GW, for a city golf course is in great shape, but you must be a good scrambler if you don't hit the fairways.Trust me I know. |

| Have played a number of Ross courses and this course is a Ross gem. The Wright contains all of the tricks that Ross is famous for- crowned greens, elevated greens, left and right bunkering around greens and blind approaches. A great layout in the Scottish parkland tradition. Course has improved since the city has taken back the management. The course is playable and enjoyable right now and is getting better. The greens are terrifice which makes for a great round of golf. |

| Great Donald Ross layout. City is doing the best it can in keeping conditions up. You will not have an easy time at this course. Bring your "A" game. Hole 5 should be on the tour. |
