This course, which opened in December, 1996, winds through a housing development with out-of-bounds stakes lining both sides of the fairway on nearly every hole. If you keep your tee shots straight, the fairways afford generous landing areas. The greens are fairly large and undulating, and the layout makes good use of water hazards, which come into play on six holes. One of the tougher holes is #18, a 376-yard, par 4, featuring water along the entire right side of the fairway and around the green. Groups of sixteen or more can reserve tee times up to a year in advance. The 5,577-yard men's tee also has a ladies' course rating of 75.6 and a slope of 126.

Heritage Palms is a magnificent place if you're looking for a friendly game of golf. The greens and fairways were in tour condition and the staff (as well as residents) were very friendly and helpful. If you're looking for one of the best kept secrets in the desert, then look no further than Heritage Palms. Had a terrific time--will definitely be back!

"Better than Quicksilver...and cheaper too!!!"
When golf is mentioned around the area of McDonald/Midway/Pittsburgh and it's surrounding areas, most people think of Quicksilver. I urge everyone to play Fort Cherry Golf Club. The staff there treats you like real true people, and are there to serve you. Their gentle courtesey helped me to feel comfortable, even before i stepped forth on the golf course. The course itself is always in beautiful shape. IPrices are right; play is magnificant. I recommend Fort Cherry to all vistors and friends that I know are comming to the area.

Pretty Good Course overall, they seem to love bunkers though, the 18th is the nicest i though with the island green. The Fairways are all pretty narrow too.
