Locals consider this course as the "poor man's Augusta." The mature trees lining the fairways provide a lot of character to the course. Numerous sand bunker have been positioned throughout the course, and the terrain is rolling. One small creek comes into play on hole #9, a 462-yard, par 5. There are additional sets of tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round.

I grew up playing snag creek so I may be partial but I love this course. It is a challenging and fun course for golfers of all handicaps and is by far the best value for the money that I have ever played on. The people are great and the surroundings are quiet and serene. "Frosty Valley"
Frosty Valley is a golf course that gives a feeling of success in all parts of your game. Strategic pin locations give each shot to the green a different spin, and makes even the best person's short game be tested. As for the far hitters, the par 5's here are among far distances and have challenging obsticles just off to the side of the fairways, forcing you to hit with immense precision. The greens have tough breaks in them, making this course exciting and a fun place to visit. Frosty Valley also has a pro shop with a great amount of equipment that will suit any golfer.
