A classic Trent Jones design, Jun 30, 2004

This course is a classic, for those who like the Trent Jones design themes of runway tee boxes, sculpted bunkers and rolling greens. Wind from Cayuga Lake can affect play at all times of the year. Bring some distance and good scores are possible. Conditions are normally pretty good, but in the wooded areas things get a little spotty, due to lack of sun. The best time to play this course is in the autumn, either late Spetember or early October, on a mild day. The colors are stunning, the course a challenge and the result is a great day of golf.

"Kept in great shape"
The Greeley country club plays difficult because of all the tree's this course has. The Greeley country club is a very kept up course that can be a challenging for any golfer.

Nice layout with beautiful trees and, save a few holes, away from it all. Challenging drive course, approaches are easier. Nice size greens.

"Wide Open Drive"
Fairly well kept course, the fairways are wide open for the most psrt, so if you lose your new Titlest, its your fault...There are a few water hazards in challengable spots. Bunkers are all easily avoidable. This is actually a challenging course, but one that wont drive you nuts with every stroke. Its also a pretty good course for those who arent, Arnold Palmer. You have to know your game, but it allows for mistakes, without costing you 3 strokes. The trees are beautiful, and the wildlife around the course adds to the experience. Its nice to find a place like this tucked among the city, and tall radio towers, which are right in the middle of the course, between holes nine and ten, which is the primary problem spot for this course. Its priced right, and a good challenge for the money.

Wawonowin Country Club
"Hidden jewel"
This course is in the middle of the upper peninsula of Michigan. It is simply the best course I ever played for the money. Quick and true greens were very well maintained (How did they attract such a talented Superintendent). Very challenging holes that do not duplicate themselves. Laid back atmosphere--no pressures!
