With little undulation on the fairways or greens, even lies can be expected. The signature hole is #14, a 226-yard, par 3. From the elevated tee, this hole plays over a gorge to a large green.

this course was great the fairways were like greens compared to public courses, it was expensive but worth it once or two times a year.

Sleepy Hollow Country Club - Eighteen Hole Course

As a Brit abroad, I was lucky enough to receive a couple of invitations to play here. The whole experience was outstanding, from the service at the club to the course itself. The clubhouse is one of the more impressive around (probably only improved upon by my home course in the UK!). The track itself was in excellent condition and, as with other Tillinghast courses, was a good strategic challenge, although not as 'man-sized' as say Winged Foot West and Bethpage Black. More playable for someone of my ability and therefore perhaps as enjoyable.

"good course for using all your clubs"
The front nine is narrow and short. A good drive and a short iron to the green and you will score well. The back nine is a completely different course than the front. Long open fairways for the long hitter and you will need your long irons or fairway woods to get you to the green.
