This links-style course was redesigned by Mark McCumber in 1994. The fairways are open, and the greens are large, flat, and medium to fast in speed. The terrain is flat with lakes and canals coming into play on almost every hole. The signature hole is #2, a 177-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot to a well-bunkered, large green. The wind is a major factor on this hole. Private and group golf lessons are available.

| The course at Westland is a nice course but some of the holes are right on the interstate and that can be a nusense. Otherwise the course is well kept and can be a great place to play if the conditions are right. Now i have only played there about 6 times and i have gone on the best days and the worst days, the course held up on the rainy days and was indcredible on the beutiful of days. I highly recomend to go to the cours at Westland if your ever in jacksonville. diddn't think i was 13 when ya read it did ya?? |
