This Northern Florida course offers surprisingly hilly terrain, and a good variety of holes ranging from straight, doglegs, short and long. Water does not come into play. Hole #7, a 431-yard, par 4, is considered the signature hole and the most difficult hole on the course. There are additional sets of tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round.

Great 9 hole course !!!, Feb 12, 2011

This very nice priced ( 25.00 ) for 18 holes with a cart was fantastic. The greens are very well maintained, the course was well designed, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpfull. I would highly advise golfers to check this little gem in tiny Hamilton county out. You cannot beat this for the price !

Great local course with low usage. No crowds, nice greens and just enough hills to make the course a challenge. Walkers will appreciate the course condition. New carts with GPS added in 2009. Nine holes with no water to contend with. Rough is open enough so casual players can enjoy finding their way back to the fairway. Just a short distance north of Interstate 10 on highway 129.

I have played at this course multiple times, being from the area, and it is okay. Not the nicest by far but the price is right and the course is short of challenging. I have not played at many courses with only nine holes but this one is fun. I have played at places in Destin,Fl for WAY more money but it is always nice to just go out and play golf at this nice quite course in Jasper.

Highland Springs Golf Course
"Great couse."
This course is a great example of Ozark Mountain terrain. Flawless greens, oceans of water, and large greenside and fairway bunkers make this golf course a 5 star course. The layout is a bit easier than your traditional 5 star PGA Tour Championship courses. The Nike/Buy.com/whatever its name is this year tour uses this course each year for one of its tournaments and the players always remark on quality maintenance.

This course is probably one of the nicest ones I've ever played! - I MEAN IT!!! The greens were very well kept, the clubhouse was delightful, and my wife loved your fairways! I played here, once,-back in the 60's, but it was quite different then. (To be honest it looks allot smaller, and I don't remember there being any Homes so near the course?) We WILL be back, this summer!

Some of the holes are short but with the smaller greens and water meandering around the course it makes you think as to what club to scale back to as well as making sure you don't do too much slicing. Most of the holes you can hit right at the hole if you have a high 8,9 or PW. You have to be careful off the tee on some holes due to the water running across the fairway. The back nine has some undulating fairways. The largest green seems to be No. 18 and it slopes quite a bit downward from back to front. The fairway grass has gotten better over the years since it was known as SLOCUM golf course. The staff is friendly and accommodating.
