This course's greens are medium in size and speed. Several of the greens are undulating, so beginners may find these greens difficult to read. Water hazards (ponds) come into play on three holes. The signature hole is #2, a 170-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over a ravine to the green.

One of the better courses from our slim choices availabile, Aug 20, 2009 |

| I found the course to be fun to play, easy to navigate, and had a nice mixup of 3's 4's and 5's. Being an Amature I can confirm this sites claim that the greens are a little harder to read, but what green isn't? That's all part of what makes a good green. The greens and fairways are well kept and the cart paths are paved and accaptable. I would have gave the course a 4 if it werent for a competitor course I has just played that just slightly edges Raven Rock out, but the course has came along way and is imporving all the time! |

Best bang for the buck, Aug 20, 2009 |

| For what we have available in our area this is the best course in this price range hands down. They have a good proshop and grill, course service for drinks and such, and a nice overall layout. You get more than what you pay for for sure. |

| This course now has a beautiful 18-hole setup that has fast, large bentgrass greens and narrow bentgrass fairways. The rough is getting better. This will be one of the best courses in the region if all goes right. |

| This now an 18 Hole Championship course. I have played all over the Bear Tracein TN and Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail in Ala., but they have nothing on this course. Good shots are rewarded with ample landing areas and short grass, a little offline and you will find the rough 4 to 6 inches and like velcro, but a bad shot will find a 500 foot drop or rough so thick you'll never see the ball again. A few holes have water in play and all of them are beautiful and well designed. A very Challenging Course, that I plan to play again very soon and I live a hard 10 hour drive away. |
