This course is generally flat with some gently rolling hills and tree-lined fairways. The greens are medium-sized and plenty of sand and water comes into play throughout the design. The most difficult hole is #11, a 614-yard, par 5, which is surrounded by water and stresses shot accuracy more than length in order to obtain a low score. The club annually hosts the Nike Tour's South Carolina Classic open qualifier. Walking the course is permitted in the off-season only.

Terrible Condition, Apr 27, 2005

This was once a good course. I played it on April 25, 2005 and found it in a total state of disarray. Cart paths are full of holes. Tees, greens and fairways are in awful shape. Other courses in the area are in much better condition.

Knob Hill Golf Course
"One of the better ones around"
Nicely maintained, well conditioned course. A little short from the whites, and perhaps a little long from the championship tees for the average golfer. Water comes into play on many holes, as does out of bounds. Greens are medium sized and fairly flat, but several have devilish breaks. Holes seven and eight can make or break your round, and when playing into the wind, the eighteenth is as tough a finishing hole as there is in the area. There has been talk about going private for several years, but it appears as if it will happen sometime in 2004, so if you have the opportunity to play, do it soon!!

Bing Maloney Golf Course - Eighteen Course
"Bing Maloney -- a decent public course"
Bing is a fairly easy course that is fairly easy to get on. There are a few holes that are semi-challenging, but not many. This course is fairly long and has lots of old trees boardering the fairways. Play the Blue tees for a more challenging round.
