This nine hole course sits right in the middle of an apartment complex. This course only allows outside play during the week. On weekends, only residents and members can play. The terrain on this course is very hilly, so there will be a lot of uneven lies. The fairways are narrow and lined by apartment buildings. Water hazards come into play on seven holes, and there are sand bunkers scattered throughout the course. The greens are medium-sized, undulating and generally fast. The signature hole is #9, featuring an island green that is in the shape of the State of Arkansas. There are no course or slope ratings for any of the tees shown.

"Tough Day"
I played this course with my brother,(scratch) on a Saturday in September 2003. We found it easily, we paid and went thru the rather surly starter and we were off, there wasn't much of a wait on the first tee. The first couple of holes were standard, it was a rather breezy day so I was really challenged to keep my ball on our the fairway.(this would be my problem for most of the round). Nice elavation changes, and the course looked great compared to it's neighbor,(whitetail). Dogs and beer at the turn. The back nine was just as nice as the front. Immaculate greens with challenging pin positions. Afterwards it was a couple of more beers and burgers at the lounge. Good food. If we had more time we would have gone to their fine dining restaurant, got a glance at their menu, looked really nice. great sunset too! Overall a great day.

This is a great layout with some long par 3's. The fairways are wide but trees line many holes and you must be in position in the fairway to get a shot at the small greens. Speed of the greens is medium-fast. Greens and Tee boxes were in good shape but the bermuda fairways are dormant and not overseeded for the winter. Play is slower on Sunday's but everyone was friendly and helpful.

Well designed course is kept in great condition. Greens are as good any you will find. If this was an 18 hole it would be one of the best in Massachusetts.
