Excellent course at a bargain price, Jun 20, 2004
reviewer: Robert Engelhardt from Manhattan, KS USA
This is a well-kept, pastoral course, that is very affordable (2004 - $12.25 for 18, walking). There is usually little waiting time during the week. The greens have a fair amount of break in them, which makes them somewhat tricky. Two of the par 4s require pin point driving accuracy to avoid overhanging trees on the left and right. Another par 4 (eight) has overhanging trees on the right and water from the left across the front, which shouldn't come into play, but naturally does occassionally. Two par 5s (one and ten) have water and require most players to lay up to avoid disaster. Overall, perhaps the second best course in the area (Colbert Hills has a very high reputation, but I haven't played it).

Great Hidden Gem, Mar 08, 2004
reviewer: Dave from Kansas City
Always in good shape. Challenging layout with plenty of green side bunkers. Greens have lots of break in them. Back nine can get windy with not as many trees.

A steal, Feb 28, 2004
reviewer: Steven from Georgia
I have played this course many times, and am very please in which they maintain the course all year round. Being in the Service I first played on post at Fort Riley, but was very upset at the way it was kept up. Again, great golf course!!!!!
