Boasting panoramic views of rolling meadowland, this club has something to offer golfers of all abilities. The mildly undulating greens are generously sized, giving players the opportunity to test their stroke on the velvety soft surface. Some of the contoured fairways feature narrow landing areas, which presents a pleasant challenge. Hole #6 is truly unique. This par 4, designed in the shape of a wolf's leg, climbs 379 yards along a "wolf-leg" left fairway to a green surrounded by five sand bunkers in the shape of a paw. Distinctive touches and a Scottish flavor combine to make this a must-play course.

"Scenic and challenging"
This is a beautiful and well designed course. The course can prove to be challenging for both the beginner and scratch golfer alike. The high grass that seperates some of the holes can be frustrating, so you would be well advised to keep to the left on such holes. During the fall the greens are usually riddled with leaves and twigs so spring and summer would be your best bet. The developer did an excellent job incorporating the natural surroundings into the course. With a tee off the top of a ridge on hole one, to the natural rocks that appear throughout the course, Greystone Golf Club in Dickson is sure to give you the feeling of connecting with nature as you connect with your ball.

Throckmorton Country Club
"The Best Little Course in West Texas!"
This 9 hole course is the hardest little course I have ever played! If you think the Links is hard wait until you play this bad boy! The hardest hole would probably be #7. This par 5 may look easy when you step up on these elevated tee boxes but just wait until you tee off. Thats when the adventure begins. The second hardest would the #5. This par 4 dogleg right is probably the hardest par 4 on the course. Of course there are a few easy holes thrown in just so you don't lose your confidence. So if you are ever traveling through Throckmorton; be sure and stop to play "The Best Little Course in West Texas!"
