This hilly course was cut out of a forest, so the fairways are extensively tree lined and narrow. A pond comes into play on two holes and there are eleven greenside sand bunkers positioned around eight greens. The greens are average-sized and have some slope.

Nice Course - Great Lessons, Jan 21, 2009

Check out the Kenosha County 2009 winter program. According to their web site, they have set up an indoor practice and teaching area in the clubhouse. A Teaching Professional is on site to give pointers and suggestions. Private lessons are also available. What a great idea !

This is beautiful course that is kept in very good condition. Busy on weekends, but no problem getting a tee time on weekdays. They have an excellent Teaching Professional, Chris Adams. Schedule a lesson, you will not be disappointed!

I think this is a great course. The green fee's are very reasonable and the course is beautiful and fun.

One of the toughest and most perfectly maintained courses I've seen. Always has the best greens in the state. Looooooong par fours, interesting par fives and great par threes. Friendly, non-pretentious membership.

"Wide Open Drive"
Fairly well kept course, the fairways are wide open for the most psrt, so if you lose your new Titlest, its your fault...There are a few water hazards in challengable spots. Bunkers are all easily avoidable. This is actually a challenging course, but one that wont drive you nuts with every stroke. Its also a pretty good course for those who arent, Arnold Palmer. You have to know your game, but it allows for mistakes, without costing you 3 strokes. The trees are beautiful, and the wildlife around the course adds to the experience. Its nice to find a place like this tucked among the city, and tall radio towers, which are right in the middle of the course, between holes nine and ten, which is the primary problem spot for this course. Its priced right, and a good challenge for the money.
