Timberlin Golf Club330 Sington Rd Kensington, CT 06037 Phone: (860)828-3228Fax: (860)828-1813
This very scenic course was built on gently rolling terrain. The fairways are tree lined, but not too thick. There are many ponds and brooks that come into play on a number of holes. The signature hole is #1, a 581-yard, par 5, which features a green sitting on a knoll that is surrounded by trees. "Golf Digest" rated this course as the 10th "Best Public Course" in the state for 1996. People have been known to travel long distances to play here because of the friendly and hospitable atmosphere.

| As a resident of Danbury, I have access to one of the best pieces of property graced with an 18 hole golf facility. Having played the game for almost 40 years, and most on municipal tracks, the pleasure of having such a wonderful, graceful design like Timberlin, right in the middle of CT, is remarkable.
The Pro shop personnel, along with the friendly nature of the 19th hole, combine to offer any golfer, regardless of handicap, a truly enjoyable day!!
Yes, I can and do play Richter Park, but the 45 mile drive to Timberlin, does not discourage a trip to play an equally fine 18 hole experience. |

| I love this place, I always start my season playing this course...a 581yd opening par 5, what a hole, pull out the big stick for this gem, crush it 260-270 and then if you want to hit driver off the deck go for it....a dogleg left then right into a hole thats has a small opening into the green. Go over the green and your pitching up a hill to get to the surface of the green thats fast too.... great opening hole.... try this place, you`ll love it.... |
